Examining in-depth the technologies, LightOS 2.2 is a high-performance, highly available software defined storage product, which is integrated with Kubernetes and Openstack, supporting containerized and virtualized applications. Operating LightOS on 3rd Gen Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors, Intel® Optane™ persistent memory 200 Series, Intel® Quad Level Cell (QLC) 3D NAND SSDs, and Intel® Ethernet 800 Series Network Adapters (NICs) with Application Device Queues (ADQ) technology will unleash the full power of your private, hybrid and edge clouds. In addition, to an optimized NVMe/TCP front end, LightOS software includes an intelligent flash management software layer that delivers rich data services including thin provisioning, compression, snaps & clones, data protection, and QoS. And finally, LightOS runs on existing infrastructure and standard server configurations from multiple server vendors, and leverages NVMe/TCP on standard TCP/IP networks, which is ubiquitous, simple, and efficient.
